  • 1 cup fresh blackberries, ripe and juicy
  • 1012 fresh basil leaves
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bacon: Cook thick-cut bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat and keep crispy.
  2. Preheat the Grill and Prepare the Dough: Heat grill to medium-high. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter with even thickness.
  3. Grill the Dough Base: Brush one side of the dough with olive oil and place that side down on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes until grill marks form and dough firms. Brush the top side with olive oil, then flip and grill briefly.
  4. Add the Toppings: Remove grilled dough from the grill. Evenly spread fresh mozzarella cheese, scatter crispy bacon pieces, distribute fresh blackberries, sprinkle fresh basil leaves on top. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  5. Final Grill and Melt: Return the pizza to the grill. Cover with grill lid or tent with foil. Grill for 3-5 minutes until cheese melts and basil wilts slightly.
